What is the difference between high bay and low bay LED lights?
High Bay / Low Bay are lighting terms used to describe the correct bay lights needed for the appropriate ceiling height. Typically, High Bay Lights apply to any large area with a ceiling height greater than 20 ft. In return, Low Bay Fixtures are used in large rooms with a ceiling height between 12 and 20 feet.

How many high bay LED lights do I need?
Use 100 watts High Bay lights and space them out every 8-14 feet (8 for high brightness, 14 for adequate). A 6×3 pattern for example is 18 lights for basic lighting, or go 7×3 (or 6×4/8×3 depending on wiring) for 21-24 lights to get a medium brightness level.

If you plan to install a High Bay LED light at the height of 10 to 15 feet then you should get lights with 10,000 to 15,000 lumens. For 15 to 20 feet, lights with 16,000 to 20,000 lumens are recommended. For the height of 25 to 35 feet, you can get lights with 33,000 lumens for the best result.
Is 5000 lumens too much?
Are 5000 lumens bright enough? A 5000-lumen LED bulb is a very bright light source, and if you are using it in a relatively small room, it can be very harsh. In this case, it is recommended that you use a 1000-lumen LED bulb.
How far apart to space high bay LED lights?
At 20 feet high you can go to 15 feet spacing for generating bright light and if you need normal light, a spacing of 18 feet should be used. At 30 feet height, you can go for 20 feet spacing between the lights in order to get a brighter light. However, for normal light, you can go for 25 feet spacing.
